DAV Public School Badshahpur celebrated Guru Nanak Dev Jayanti on its premises with full enthusiasm , devotion and fervor under the able guidance and supervision of our worthy Principal Sir. A special assembly was conducted on 7th Nov, 2022 to mark this great day. First of all, Mrs. Shally Sharma told about the importance of this day and followed a speech by a student of Ramneet Kaur (IX). She threw light on the life and teaching of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji through her speech. Then, there was poem recitation on the teaching of Guru Ji by Harsangeet Singh (IV). After that Shabad and Holy Hymns sung by the students and Mrs. Devender Kaur. The Shabad and holy hymns created a peaceful environment all around. At last, there was a speech by our Principal Sir, who told us to follow the path of teachings of Guru Ji and to live in peace and harmony with everyone. There was also calligraphy competition between the students of Bharat Mata House on ‘Shlok of Shri guru Nanak Dev Ji’ and the winner got the medals. In this competition,

1. Priya (VII-B) bagged first position,

2. Ranjodh singh (VII-A) got second position and

3. Manjot Chahal (VII-A) was on third position

At last, our Principal Sir appreciated the efforts of teachers and students of Bharat Mata House for unique & innovative work.
