TEEJ CELEBRATION 2022  

Teej celebration was held at DAV Public School Badshahpur with great enthusiam. Children attended the function wearing Punjabi folk dresses. The function was started with the speech by Avneet Kaur a student of 10th B who told the students about the history and importance of Teej. It was followed by a cultural dance by the students of first house Swami Dayanand house. Everyone was stunned with their dance performance. 
A selfie corner had also been created as a typical Punjabi culture scene with swings adorned with flowers. The function was organised under the guidance and supervision of our worthy Principal Sir Mr. Pankaj Kumar Singh ji and coordinated by teachers of Swami Dayanand house. 
An Inter House Mehndi competition was also held. On this occasion our worthy Principal sir appreciated the girls for their stunning performance on folk song and also gave warm greetings of this festival. At last, he told about the importance of celebration of Teej festival.
